Measuring Guides, Custom Sizes, & Ordering Options
Our shutters are build to order within a specific range of lengths, widths, and stains to ensure consistent quality, durability, and appearance. Custom length, width, and stain request are available through our custom order option.
Available Lengths
Sizes are available in lengths ranging from 24 inches up to 72 inches. Lengths are chosen based on window height and overall exterior proportions.
Standard Widths
Sizes are available in these five widths: 5 inches, 8 inches, 11 inches, 17 inches, and 22¼ inches. These widths are selected to provide balanced proportions across a wide range of window sizes and exterior styles.
Stain Options
We offer four standard stain options available at checkout, as well as an unstained (raw cedar) option for customers who prefer to apply their own finish. The unstained option allows you to customize the final look yourself while still receiving a handcrafted cedar shutter.
Custom Sizing, Stain, & Other Special Requests
If you are looking for a length, width, or stain color not offered within our standard selections, we offer a custom order option. Custom requests may include different lengths, widths, and stain colors that can be found within our extended stain portfolio. Any other finish variations or special considerations beyond our standard options must be reviewed prior to ordering. Custom requests must be submitted through the custom box section before checkout, and availability may vary depending on materials and finish requirements.
Choosing the Right Size
Use the size chart provided to help select the appropriate shutter length and width for your windows. The chart is designed to guide you toward proportions that work well visually based on the window size and the standard widths we offer.
Shutter length is typically chosen to closely match the height of the window opening. Select the length that best aligns with your window height for a balanced, visually pleasing appearance.
